Noisy Place is named in homage to my residence of Henderson, West Auckland, a locality which is populated by the many descendents of "Screaming Annie", and regularly descended upon by "the bird".
It is intended as an avenue to share and archive authentic content, bypassing siloed and subscription-based social media platforms.

My Background
I've accumulated a large collection of vinyl, CD and digital files over more than 25 years. In particular: classic reggae, dub, downtempo, ambient, house, techno, drum & bass, funk, jazz, abstract/leftfield, free improvisation, psychedelic rock, progressive rock.
I usually approach a pre-recorded mix at home by settling on a concept, theme, or mood. I approach a mix for a live audience with consideration to the time, place, and people who will be there.
